Jacquelyn Kelsi Wymard

Currently taking an in-depth course in herbal medicine.

Dr. Kelsi Wymard grew up on a small farm in southwestern Pennsylvania, where her love for animals started at a young age. She knew she wanted to a be a veterinarian around the age of five and worked hard to make that dream a reality. She graduated from The Ohio State University in 2016 with a BS in Animal Sciences, and in 2020 she obtained her veterinary degree from Lincoln Memorial University in Tennessee. Dr. Wymard fell in love with the state of Oregon during her clinical rotation year, which she spent traveling around the country working at various veterinary hospitals.

Dr. Wymard's professional interests include surgery and preventative care. She strongly believes in holistic medicine which assesses each patient as an individual and focuses on supporting the body's innate ability to heal itself. This can be achieved by identifying areas of imbalance in environment/physiology/psychology that are preventing the pet from sustaining optimal health. Dr. Wymard is certified in Western Herbal Medicine and is looking forward to pursuing Chinese Herbal Medicine in the future to further advance her integrative skillset in veterinary medicine.

In her free time, Dr. Wymard enjoys spending time outdoors reading, hiking, white water rafting, rock climbing, and soaking up the sunshine on a good river rock. Her and her partner are the proud parents of two sweet fur babies - Daisy, an angelic black-lab, and Lucy, a spunky reservation mutt. Her pets are her world, and as such she treats every one of her patients as if they were one of her own.

She looks forward to meeting you and helping your furry family members!
